My eye surgeon Miss Han Bin Lee was exceptional, she explained every step of the procedure, helped me choose the best replacement lenses for my specific needs and reassured me every step of the way. The operation itself went very smoothly and during the operation Miss Han Bin Lee and the nursing team looked after me, explained each part of the operation as they started different aspects. The experience was not at all frightening, as I expected it to be given my anxiety, and I was very pleased with the experience overall. My after care has been excellent with an appointment after 2 weeks to be told that my vision is very good, I now do not have to have glasses for reading or distance/driving etc. This operation has actually changed my life and keeps me smiling every day, after trying to deal with multiple sets of glasses, blurred vision. During my initial examination I was told that I suffered from dry eye syndrome, which I was not aware of and a problem with my eye oil production, Miss Han Bin Lee explained how to help with this, using a heated eye mask to help with the oil production, drops for my eyes and also tablets to be taken for 2 months to help with this also. I used all the things suggested and I think this has helped with my recovery. I cannot fault my treatment and aftercare and would recommend anyone thinking of doing this to contact Benenden and start on their journey to better eyesight.

The slightest negative I can think of is regarding the waiting area, if you are in for a long wait, do take a cushion as the seating is the most uncomfortable I have ever encountered However, Miss Lee is worth any wait. She is very pleasant and reassuring and took extremely good care during my cataract operation
