Dr Miguel Bertoni

Dr. Miguel Bertoni is a highly experienced and accomplished medical professional specialising in Neuroradiology. He has a diverse and extensive background in both academic and clinical settings.

Currently, Dr. Bertoni holds the position of Senior Lecturer in Neuroradiology at the University of Kent. In this role, he contributes to the education and training of students and professionals in the field of Neuroradiology, sharing his expertise and knowledge to advance the understanding of neuroimaging and related disciplines.

In addition to his academic role, Dr. Bertoni is a valued member of the East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust. He has been working with the trust since 2010, serving as a Consultant Neuroradiologist. As part of his clinical responsibilities, he applies his specialised skills in interpreting and analysing medical images of the nervous system to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning. He also sees patients privately at Spencer Private Hospital. 

Before joining the East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust, Dr. Miguel Bertoni worked as a Consultant Radiologist at the Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust for a period of six years.

Dr. Bertoni's dedication to advancing Neuroradiology is evident in his ongoing research activities. Throughout his career, he has been actively involved in research in the field of Neuroradiology, contributing to the body of knowledge and improving the understanding and management of neurological conditions.

Dr. Bertoni obtained his medical degree, MD in Medicine, from Universidad Nacional de La Plata, in 1980. Over the years, he has honed his skills, gained extensive experience, and become a recognised expert in Neuroradiology, making significant contributions to the healthcare community through his clinical work, research, and academic endeavours.
