Dr Metin Yalcin

Dr Metin Yalcin is a dedicated Consultant Gastroenterologist and Consultant Hepatologist who provides reassuring, high-quality care for patients experiencing digestive and liver disorders. He focuses on delivering clear diagnostic assessments and individualised treatment plans, ensuring that every patient receives compassionate and thoroughly considered medical support for their gastrointestinal health.

His clinical interests encompass liver conditions and pancreaticobiliary disease. Dr Yalcin possesses specialised expertise in advanced interventional and diagnostic procedures, including Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) and Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP). Alongside his direct clinical practice, he actively contributes to quality assurance and patient safety initiatives in his role as a Clinical Governance Co-Lead.

Dr Yalcin earned his primary medical degree from Barts and the London Medical School in 2009. He subsequently completed specialist higher training in Gastroenterology and Hepatology within the Kent, Surrey and Sussex Deanery. To further develop his expertise in complex diagnostic techniques, he also completed a dedicated clinical research fellowship in endoscopy. He holds Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP).
