Dr. Matthew Liveras

Dr. Matthew Liveras is a highly experienced consultant psychiatrist and group analytic psychotherapist, renowned for his extensive clinical expertise across both inpatient and community psychiatric settings. He pursued his medical and medical anthropology studies at University College London, followed by specialised training in Psychiatry.

Dr. Liveras previously served as a consultant psychiatrist in the NHS, notably contributing to a specialist psychotherapy service. Here, he led analytic and mentalisation-based therapy groups, while also providing supervision and education to fellow doctors and psychotherapists.
