Mr Erritty was great throughout. He made me feel listened too, explained everything to me very clearly, and he made me feel very confident In his abilities. Even though my scans didn’t show any clear signs of Endometriosis, he took my symptoms seriously and helped me make my decision of what to do next. I decided to go ahead with laparoscopic surgery to diagnose and remove the Endo (to which it was found) and it’s been life changing for me post operation. Pretty much all my symptoms have gone.

I was recommended to contact Matthew Erritty a few years ago, and had no hesitation in contacting him again regarding recent changes in my condition and the procedure required to alleviate the symptoms.

In all my appointments with Mr Erritty, I have felt listened to, and that feelings and opinions have been taken on board, and my concerns addressed. Mr Erritty has always explained my condition and treatments, and I have always left the appointment fully informed about what would be happening going forward.

He explained my options to me and my husband in great detail, recommending what he thought was my best option in his professional opinion. From the first appointment, he took the time to listen carefully to all of my concerns and never made me feel rushed. After struggling with symptoms for a long time, it meant a lot to finally feel that someone was taking them seriously. The whole process around my operation was handled in a very calm and professional way, and I felt safe and well looked after at every stage. I feel very lucky to have been under his care and would highly recommend him.

I’d not always had the most positive experience with gynaecologists, and for various reasons I wanted to see someone new. I honestly cannot sing Mr Erritty’s praises any louder: I felt confident in his skills as a gynaecologist but it was much more than that - he was thorough, understanding, kind. He took his time to go through my history during my first consultation and I never once felt rushed or as if I was being judged. All options were clearly explained to me and I felt comfortable in making the right decision for my situation. Touch wood I don’t need any gynaecological help in the future, but if I do, I wouldn’t want to see anyone else.
