Patients find Dr Matteo Bernardotto knowledgeable, patient, and friendly, building comfort and trust. He performs thorough examinations and uses diagnostics, providing clear diagnoses and clear explanations for problems. He plans full treatments, including physiotherapy and joint injections, to help patients recover and return to activity. Dr Bernardotto helps patients with back pain and joint injuries.
Excellent bedside manner with an honest desire to get to the bottom of a problem. Free from "I am so brilliant vibes", which some other consultants in the past displayed. Refreshingly down to earth, very approachable, calm, supportive and friendly. Skilfully manages to establish trust in a short space of time. Most importantly, excellent listening skills, does not try to convenience you of a diagnosis after only hearing a quarter but appears to be thorough and reflective before making up his mind. Excellent empathy and subject knowledge skills. Outstanding communicator, who gets a patient fully involved, with thorough, detailed easy to understand explanations. Most importantly, if you had negative experiences before with consultants causing you pain/flare ups in the night and following day(s) due to handling you roughly during an examination, then give Dr Bernardotto a try. He very carefully moved my limbs with utmost consideration during the necessary examination, which helps building trust. Does not leave you feel watching the clock or rushed. Overall an exceptional experience – I see uncountable doctors for various conditions, so have plenty of experiences to compare against. I usually don't leave feedback but if someone"goes the extra mile", so will I, by writing feedback reflecting the latter.
Dr Matteo Bernardotto was kind, knowledgeable and very patient. It was a pleasure to be treated by him and I’ve made so much progress under his care. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone who needs help with an injury.
Very friendly and easy to talk with, felt very comfortable!
I met Dr Bernardotto last month having suffered from chronic back pain for 2 years. His knowledge, empathy and patience instilled a belief that had been lacking from my meetings with other medical professionals. He applied a forsenic analysis to my symptoms which reflected a commitment to my health. The time he spent with me was based on my needs and not time determined. I would highly recommend Dr Bernardotto to anyone with muscular or skeletal issues as he is exceptional. Andrew P
I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Bernardotto and the considered care I received. I arrived at his clinic with right groin pain that kept me from pursuing my sporting hobbies (football in particular). This had previously been misdiagnosed as a sports hernia or groin injury. After attentively listening to my concerns he conducted various diagnostics and the MRI confirmed a PLAC injury with a slight adductor tear. Dr. Bernardotto reassured me that he is fully committed to returning me back to full health and tackled the diagnosis holistically. Through a combination of physiotherapy and PRP injections I was able to return to my beloved hobby stronger than ever. I am forever grateful to you Dr. Matteo for your compassionate and insightful care. The joy and mental relief I felt after returning from a long injury cannot be overstated! Wish you and your team all the very best.
I went to see Dr Bernardotto after an ankle injury. I’d never had a limiting injury of this nature before but he was really good. Very knowledgeable, sympathetic and explained everything to me really well. He really did give me the best care and ensured a proper schedule of physio / follow up treatment.
Clear diagnosis and examination including a good explanation of what was seen during the ultrasound. Practical advice regarding treatment options. Friendly and professional manner. Easy to understand.
Dr Bernardotto is lovely. He listened to all my symptoms and concerns I had, was able to diagnose quickly, then put a clear treatment plan in place. I would highly recommend him!
I had an excellent experience. Dr Matteo Bernardotto was excellent. I found him to be highly professional and knowledgeable. He also has a great bedside manner. He was able to explain to me what his impressions were after listening to my history, then he did a thorough clinical examination and followed me up with the results. I felt extremely well looked after and informed along the way. I had been to other healthcare providers previously about the same symptoms and did not manage to find any help in reaching a diagnosis up until seeing Dr Bernardotto, so I am very grateful to Dr Bernardotto for his excellent knowledge and clinical skills. I am a GP and have found his work to be really superb. Very well done!
Dr. Bernardotto was very professional, yet kind and easy to talk to. He takes time to understand your concerns and then does a thorough assessment. Answers any questions and provides very clear and understandable diagnosis, treatment proposal etc. I highly recommend him and have done so already.
When I have patients with sports injuries that will respond on the conservative management, I send them to Matteo, and he fixes the issue. My patients are giving me excellent feedback and this is best recommendation if you need to see good Sports medicine doctor

NeurosurgeonThere are very few clinicians who can be rated so highly; the combination of his osteopathic approach alongside an exemplary knowledge base in SEM is specifically unique. He is one of the very few doctors who is also expertly skilled in ultrasound guided injections including spinal procedures.
