Dr Martin Turner is a distinguished Consultant Neurologist and Professor of Clinical Neurology who provides expert care across a broad range of neurological conditions. Dedicated to delivering compassionate and evidence-based care, Dr Turner specialises in diagnosing and managing adult neurological disorders. His clinical work encompasses both general neurology consultations and specialist care for complex neurodegenerative conditions, ensuring that each patient receives a thorough and individualised assessment.

In his clinical practice, Dr Turner focuses extensively on motor neurone disease (MND), including amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), as well as related neurodegenerative conditions such as frontotemporal dementia. He is deeply committed to advancing diagnostic precision and therapeutic strategies through the development of clinical biomarkers. Utilising advanced neuroimaging techniques, including magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and magnetoencephalography (MEG), alongside biofluid analysis, Dr Turner works at the forefront of translating innovative neuroscientific discoveries into meaningful clinical outcomes.

Dr Turner completed his medical degrees at the University of Cambridge and the University of London before going on to complete a Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) in neuroscience.
