About Ms Marlene See
Ms Marlene See is a Consultant in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery with specialist expertise in breast and microsurgical reconstruction. She practises at HCA UK at The Shard and London Bridge Hospital, London.
She completed her plastic surgery training in London and East Grinstead and was awarded a Master’s in Surgical Science for her research on 3D imaging and its application in facial analysis. In 2015, she undertook a fellowship in microsurgery at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals, London. Her clinical practice focuses on breast reconstruction following mastectomy, with an emphasis on microvascular breast reconstruction, correction of congenital breast deformities, and aesthetic breast surgery.
Ms See is a core member of the multidisciplinary team for the Hereditary Breast and Ovarian Cancer service, where she advises patients considering risk-reducing mastectomies on their reconstructive options. She has published extensively on breast reconstruction, facial analysis, and lower limb reconstruction.
In addition to her clinical work, Ms See has served as the Scientific Chair of the London Breast Meeting since its inception in 2014. This annual meeting attracts more than 40 international speakers, over 500 delegates, and is broadcast worldwide. She also regularly lectures on breast surgery techniques for the European Masters in Breast Surgery and is an invited speaker at international conferences.
