Dr Maria Hobrok is a highly qualified Consultant Anaesthetist specialising in Anaesthetics and Intensive Care Medicine. Dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care, Dr Hobrok guides patients through every stage of their perioperative journey, from pre-assessment to postoperative recovery. Dr Hobrok earned her medical degree (MUDr) from Univerzita Pavla Jozefa Safárika in Košice, Slovakia, in 1999. She completed her postgraduate specialist training, receiving her Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training (CCST) in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care in 2007. To further advance her specialist skills, she gained accreditation in Focused Intensive Care Echocardiography (FICE) in 2020 and achieved Level 1 Ultrasound skills certification for Emergency Medicine. Dr Hobrok holds professional memberships with the General Medical Council, the British Medical Association, the Medical Protection Society, and the Slovakian Medical Council.
