Dr Mandy Hunter

Dr Mandy Hunter is a dedicated Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist who provides compassionate and comprehensive medical care for women across all stages of life. With a focus on delivering safe, evidence-based, and patient-centred healthcare, she supports individuals through routine and high-risk pregnancies as well as general gynaecological conditions. Dr Hunter prioritises open communication and empathy, ensuring every patient feels respected, heard, and fully informed throughout their care journey.

Dr Hunter completed her medical degree at the University of Aberdeen in 1998. Demonstrating a strong commitment to clinical teaching and professional development, she subsequently earned a Postgraduate Diploma in Medical Education. Throughout her career, she has held important educational leadership roles, serving as an Educational Supervisor and as an Associate Postgraduate Dean, where she has mentored medical trainees and advanced standards in clinical instruction.

Her clinical practice encompasses a broad spectrum of obstetric and gynaecological care. Dr Hunter has particular clinical interests in early pregnancy care, labour and intrapartum management, unplanned pregnancy support, and elective caesarean births. She also provides thorough gynaecological evaluations and treatment plans tailored to each patient's individual needs and preferences.
