Mr Nicholson's research has focused on retinal vein occlusion and diabetic retinopathy, and he has published numerous papers on these topics. His contributions include exploring treatment options for retinal vein occlusion and diabetic retinopathy, as well as investigating the use of retinal imaging to manage risks for future complications in retinal vascular diseases. He currently leads several national and international clinical studies in diabetic retinopathy.
