Dr. Lucy Cook is an accomplished NHS Consultant Haematologist at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, specialising in lymphoma and chronic lymphocytic leukaemia (CLL). She qualified in medicine at St Mary’s Hospital Medical School in 2001 and subsequently completed her general medical and haematology training across leading academic teaching hospitals in London. Dr. Cook is a member of the Royal College of Physicians (2004) and a Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists (2009). She holds a first-class BSc (Hons) in Pathology (1998) and, following her specialist clinical training, was awarded a research fellowship by Blood Cancer UK to pursue a PhD in HTLV-1 driven T-cell lymphomas at Imperial College London, completed in 2014.
Her clinical practice focuses on the management of all lymphoma subtypes, with a particular expertise in HTLV-1 driven lymphomas. Dr. Cook has a strong research background in this area, co-developing a national clinical service to address HTLV-1 related lymphomas. Her dedication to advancing the care of lymphoma patients is reflected in her ongoing clinical and research contributions.
