Dr Mary Gleeson

Dr Mary Gleeson is a consultant haematologist with specialist expertise in lymphoma, lymph node diagnostics, and clinical research. She practices privately at Guy’s at London Bridge Hospital and works within Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust, where she plays a leading role in advancing haematology research and patient care.

She graduated with an MB BCh BAO from the National University of Ireland in 2004, before pursuing further specialist training and research in the UK. Dr Gleeson completed a clinical research fellowship at The Royal Marsden Hospital, focusing on B-cell and peripheral T-cell lymphomas. She was subsequently awarded a Doctorate in Medical Research (MD Res) from the University of London in 2018.

She is a Member of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (MRCPI) and a Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists (FRCPath), reflecting her high level of clinical and academic expertise.

Dr Gleeson is currently the Research and Development Lead for Haematology at Guy’s Hospital and serves as Principal Investigator for lymphoma clinical trials at both Guy’s Hospital and the Sarah Cannon Research Institute London. She is actively involved in clinical research, with multiple peer-reviewed publications and regular presentations at international conferences.
