Dr Lora Young is a highly qualified Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon who specialises in the diagnosis, management, and surgical treatment of conditions affecting the musculoskeletal system. She provides expert care for patients presenting with both elective orthopaedic complaints and acute traumatic injuries. With a compassionate and patient-centred approach, Dr Young is dedicated to delivering personalised treatment plans designed to alleviate pain, restore joint function, and enhance overall quality of life.

Her clinical practice encompasses a broad spectrum of trauma and orthopaedic care, with a distinct focus on upper limb conditions. Dr Young frequently performs surgical procedures including primary shoulder replacement, shoulder revision operations, and primary hip hemiarthroplasty. Working alongside multi-disciplinary teams comprising physiotherapists, specialist practitioners, and nursing staff, she ensures that every patient receives comprehensive, coordinated care throughout their treatment and rehabilitation journey.

Dr Young completed extensive postgraduate medical and surgical training in orthopaedics, earning Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery (FRCS (Tr&Orth)).
