Dr Lisa Margaret Capaldi

Dr Lisa Margaret Capaldi is a highly dedicated Consultant Clinical Oncologist who specialises in the treatment of urological and dermatological malignancies. With a patient-centred approach, she is committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care to individuals navigating a cancer diagnosis. Her clinical practice focuses on providing advanced therapeutic options, ensuring that each patient receives a tailored treatment plan designed to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Her primary areas of clinical interest include the management of prostate and bladder cancers, utilising both chemotherapy and radiotherapy to target these conditions effectively. Additionally, Dr Capaldi possesses specialised expertise in the radiotherapy treatment of skin cancers. She also serves as an Acute Oncology and Metastatic Spinal Cord Compression Lead, demonstrating her commitment to managing complex oncological emergencies and providing comprehensive support throughout the patient journey.

Dr Capaldi obtained her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of London, qualifying in 2001. She holds specialist registration in Clinical Oncology. Alongside her clinical duties, she is actively involved in supporting the wider oncology community and serves as the patron of a regional prostate cancer support group, helping to foster a supportive network for patients and their families.
