Dr Liesbeth Van Look

Dr Liesbeth Van Look is a dedicated Consultant Physician specialising in Endocrinology & Diabetes. Focused on delivering thorough, patient-centred care, she evaluates and manages a wide spectrum of hormonal, metabolic, and endocrine conditions. Her professional approach aims to ensure that patients receive clear, reassuring guidance alongside evidence-based treatment plans tailored to their individual medical needs.

In clinical practice, Dr Van Look delivers care across both inpatient and outpatient settings. Her areas of expertise include general endocrinology, general diabetes, and adolescent diabetes. Additionally, she maintains commitments in general internal medicine, taking a holistic view of patient health and managing complex endocrine disorders alongside broader medical considerations.

Dr Van Look graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) alongside a Bachelor of Medical Science with Honours (BScMedSci Hons) from the University of Aberdeen. She subsequently undertook postgraduate medical training across Scotland before completing specialist higher training in Diabetes and Endocrinology. She holds Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP UK) as well as the MRCP Specialty Certificate in Diabetes and Endocrinology.
