Dr. Lavan Baskaran

Dr Lavan Baskaran is a Senior GP Principal, Medical Educator, and Healthcare Innovator with over 16 years of NHS experience. A graduate of University College London with a degree in Medicine and a BSc in Pharmacology, he currently practices at James O'Riordan Medical Centre in Sutton.

Dr Lavan has special clinical interests in ADHD, Sleep Medicine, Chronic Kidney Disease, Diabetes, ENT, Minor Surgery, and Transgender Health. He is also a trained ADHD specialist, completing his training at King’s College London and The Maudsley in 2022.

In addition to his NHS roles, Dr Lavan sees private patients in Harley Street and Surrey, offering personalised, holistic care. He is the founder of Cinnamon Healthcare, a private GP group practice, and serves as the in-house GP for Croydon Special Allocation Service.

A nationally recognised speaker and educator, Dr Lavan regularly shares his medical insights through public speaking and educational content on YouTube and Instagram. Passionate about innovation in healthcare and education, he continues to shape patient care and professional development across the sector.
