Dr Laura Mclaughlin

Dr Laura McLaughlin is an experienced Dentist with a dedicated focus on general dental care, oral surgery, and implant dentistry. She aims to provide comprehensive and compassionate clinical care, placing strong emphasis on building excellent rapport with her patients. By ensuring individuals feel comfortable and fully informed, Dr McLaughlin empowers patients to make confident decisions regarding their long-term oral health.

Her primary clinical interests encompass all aspects of oral surgery, including advanced procedures such as bone grafting and sinus augmentation, alongside dental implant placements. Dr McLaughlin also possesses extensive training in conscious sedation, which allows her to offer reassuring support for anxious or phobic patients undergoing dental treatments. Her gentle approach ensures that both routine and surgical interventions are conducted smoothly and comfortably.

Dr McLaughlin graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Queen's University Belfast in 2007. Following her undergraduate degree, she completed postgraduate training through the General Professional Training scheme to broaden her surgical capabilities. She furthered her expertise by earning a Postgraduate Diploma in Conscious Sedation from Newcastle University in 2011, as well as a Diploma in Implant Dentistry. In addition, she holds membership with the prestigious Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
