Dr Yew explained all the steps regarding my radiotherapy extremely thoroughly and in a language easy to understand, with the utmost care and consideration at all times.

Dr Yew has been highly professional and has provided clear explanations throughout my cancer treatment. She has been excellent at problem solving issues when they arise and guiding me in the decisions I’ve needed to make using expert knowledge and experience. Above all, she has been caring, kind, reassuring and always willing to answer my many and often trivial questions and concerns. I could not feel happier or in safer hands having Dr Yew as my consultant.

I found Dr Yew to be extremely professional with a lovely caring approach. She listened to me, engaged with me, answered all my questions and explained to me all my options for the continued treatment of my breast cancer in a clear and concise manner. For the first time in this cancer journey I felt fully involved and confident that I would be receiving the very best care for me. Most importantly I felt that I had some control over my health, my cancer and my wellbeing, and that every aspect of me as a person would be considered and cared for. The package that has been provided at Centennial Park alongside my treatment by Dr Yew is fantastic. This additional support has been tailored to my needs by lovely, caring staff who took the time to engage with me in order to establish how best to support me and help me support myself.

I found that she provided me with exactly what I needed, I was diagnosed in late December 2022, she has always been very available to me, always took the time to explain things to me and taken her time not to rush me.

Dr Yew is a well conversed Oncologist who explains complicated issues simply. She is thorough with her work, up to date with available trials and new treatments and well connected with senior professionals in the field. She is kind, warm, honest and reassuring and nothing is too much trouble. I would highly recommend her.

The minute you walked into see her, her warm smile radiated an understanding. Everything was very clearly explained. She was in no hurry, she very easily put you at ease. I would highly recommend her. It was a pleasure to see her always.
