Dr Konstantinos Savvatis, a Consultant Cardiologist, currently works within the Inherited Cardiovascular Diseases Unit at Barts Heart Centre. He has also been awarded a PhD for his work on the immunomodulatory role of matrix metalloproteinases in acute myocarditis. He has also worked as a Clinical Scientist at the Charité University Hospital and the Centre for Regenerative Therapies.
Dr Savvatis is also a very active researcher, with numerous publications in high-impact medical journals - Nature, Circulation, Circulation Research, JACC, and European Heart Journal.

Dr Savvatis was very thorough in investigating my symptoms and has made me feel reassured. He listens carefully and was keen to understand my medical history and current symptoms, without making me feel rushed. I am very grateful for his care and would strongly recommend him.

Dr Savvatis has gone above and beyond in my care, which meant I was able to get an important diagnosis I believe would not have happened if I had continued on the NHS or had seen another doctor. He is extremely thorough but just as important is his caring and patient bedside manner which makes all of the difference. I feel safe and fortunate to be under his care. His secretary Miguela is also very kind, professional and efficient.
