Dr Khawar Hussain

Dr Khawar Hussain is a paediatric and adult consultant dermatologist on the specialist register. He qualified from University College London Medical School and completed his dermatology specialisation training at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and Chelsea & Westminster Hospital.

Alongside his clinical training, he has completed postgraduate academic, teaching and finance & management degrees to ensure a complete holistic approach as a clinician. He has published over sixty peer-reviewed publications, in high-impact factor journals and has won numerous prizes and scholarships (including from Health Education England, The Royal Society of Medicine and the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology). Dr Hussain was also selected as the United Kingdom’s entrant to the highly prestigious EuroDerm Excellence course for top-ranking dermatologists in Europe.

Dr Hussain is also an Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer and Senior Clinical Teacher at Imperial College London. He is actively involved in national guideline committees and numerous research trials in his current role. He has also received commendations from Imperial College London for delivering high-quality teaching to medical students and junior doctors.
