Dr Kenneth Poole is a dedicated Consultant Rheumatologist and Professor of Metabolic Bone Disease who offers comprehensive clinical care for patients experiencing complex musculoskeletal and skeletal conditions. With a practice centred on providing empathetic and individualised patient care, Dr Poole works collaboratively with individuals to evaluate their health needs and formulate tailored management plans.

As a Specialist in metabolic bone disorders, Dr Poole possesses deep clinical expertise in managing osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, and fragility fractures, including hip and vertebral fractures. He also provides tertiary assessment and management for rare skeletal disorders, such as osteogenesis imperfecta and renal bone disease. His clinical work incorporates advanced diagnostic and therapeutic techniques, including 3D quantitative computed tomography imaging, bone biopsy and histology services, and cortical thickness mapping, alongside novel targeted interventions such as anti-sclerostin therapies.

Dr Poole earned his Bachelor of Medicine degree before undertaking advanced research, completing his PhD at Clare College, Cambridge, in 2006. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians, reflecting his dedication to professional standards and academic rigour.
