Mr Kenan Kursumovic

Mr Kenan Kursumovic is a dedicated Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in orthopaedic trauma surgery and lower limb reconstruction. He provides patient-centred, compassionate care for individuals experiencing complex traumatic injuries as well as chronic joint conditions. Focused on achieving the best possible functional outcomes, Mr Kursumovic collaborates closely with broader healthcare teams to ensure every patient receives a comprehensive, individualised care plan aimed at restoring movement and enhancing quality of life.

His clinical focus encompasses pelvic and acetabular trauma, complex limb reconstruction, and lower limb arthroplasty. Mr Kursumovic regularly performs procedures such as total hip replacement, hip hemiarthroplasty, revision hip surgery, and knee replacement, alongside complex fracture repairs. By employing modern, evidence-based surgical approaches and techniques, he aims to facilitate safe, effective recoveries and support patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.

Mr Kursumovic completed his medical degree (MBBS) at St George's Medical School in London, having previously earned undergraduate and postgraduate degrees from Cambridge University. He undertook higher surgical training within the East of England Deanery, followed by sub-specialist fellowship training in complex trauma and joint replacement across leading centres in the United Kingdom and Australia, as well as international visiting fellowships in Canada, Germany, and the United States. Mr Kursumovic maintains active involvement in national professional bodies, serving on the executive committee for Policy at the Orthopaedic Trauma Society and representing the organisation on the British Orthopaedic Association Trauma Committee.
