Dr Keaton Jones

Dr Keaton Jones is a Consultant Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgeon and General Surgeon who is dedicated to delivering high-quality, compassionate care to patients requiring surgical intervention. He specialises in the diagnosis and surgical management of conditions affecting the liver, pancreas, gallbladder, and upper gastrointestinal tract. Combining clinical expertise with an empathetic approach, Dr Jones works closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that every patient receives a tailored treatment plan designed to achieve optimal outcomes.

In his clinical practice, Dr Jones possesses expertise in advanced open, laparoscopic, and robotic surgical techniques. His clinical focus encompasses complex hepatobiliary and pancreatic procedures, including surgery for malignant and benign conditions of the pancreas and liver, as well as gallbladder disorders and general surgical interventions. As a leading practitioner in integrating robotic technology into surgical training and clinical care, he utilises minimally invasive approaches to support faster patient recovery, reduced postoperative discomfort, and enhanced surgical precision.

Dr Jones completed his undergraduate medical education with Bachelor of Medical Sciences (BMedSci) and Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (BMBS) degrees. He subsequently earned a Master of Science (MSc), a Postgraduate Diploma, and a Doctor of Philosophy (DPhil) focused on surgical oncology and tumour immunology. He holds Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS) and Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) in Intercollegiate General Surgery with a sub-specialism in Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery, having been awarded the prestigious FRCS Gold Medal for top performance in his specialty examinations.
