Ms Kate Osterloh

Kate Osterloh is a UKCP registered psychotherapist. They aim to provide a safe and welcoming space for patients to talk freely. This allows them to develop a trusting and understanding relationship with each patient, in which a process of discovery and change can begin.

They will not judge patients or set goals for the therapy. Their role is to facilitate a process whereby patients can find their own meanings, truths and solutions. They draw on a number of therapeutic approaches and tailor their approach to each patient's specific needs.

They are extensively trained in the existential approach, which emphasises the human condition as a whole and helps the individual work within their human limitations while learning to recognise and utilise unexplored possibilities. They also incorporate mindfulness in their approach to therapy. Mindfulness can significantly change the way we relate to difficult feelings and experiences and has been shown to reduce stress and help with depression and anxiety.
