Mr Patel is a highly respected and experienced Consultant Ophthalmologist who performs state-of-the-art and technologically advanced corneal, cataract and lens-based surgery. They are a highly skilled micro-surgeon and one of only a handful of ophthalmic surgeons in the region that specialises in corneal transplant surgery. Mr Patel performs all forms of lamellar corneal surgery including DMEK. They are an expert on the surgical and medical management of disorders related to the front and middle parts of the eye and receives referrals from all over the UK and often from overseas clinicians.

Mr Patel has extensive experience in general Ophthalmology having been trained at some of the leading hospitals in the UK with renowned international reputation.
