I always see Marta who is an Osteopath. Been seeing her on and off over the years. I have complex conditions such as Ehlers Danlos, Pain widespread, Pots, lots of things.  I’ve also had an Hysterectomy so scar tissue in the abdomen/area.  Not to mention also problems with my ENT, TMJ and facial/sinus issues.  

Ehlers Danlos is whole body connective tissue so Marta has her work cut out unfortunately! 

Marta works externally but also inside my mouth/cranium/top palate etc. She is intuitive, caring, takes time and is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met.  And really good at what she does.  Very visceral work. Not all the ‘clunk click’ that most Osteopaths do.  Her training is different and includes soft tissue manipulation and fascia etc. not necessarily bone crunching - not for me anyway as my issues can’t handle/don’t need that stuff.   

So if you need help from your scalp to your toes, Marta is the person to see.   She has also worked on my young daughter before and I need to get her to see her again now she is hitting teen years!

I’ve been meaning to write this review for almost a year now as my daughter is nearly one, which tells you how quickly life takes over once you finally get there! But I wanted to make sure I gave Lior the recognition he deserves.

Before having her, I went through six miscarriages, an ectopic pregnancy, and four years of IVF, including four egg collections. It was an exhausting and often heartbreaking journey. I started seeing Lior fairly early on but wasn’t consistent with it. After my ectopic pregnancy, I went back and committed properly — shiatsu, acupuncture, moxibustion — going regularly for three months. Lior has such a great energy, and I always left feeling calmer and more grounded than when I arrived.

On my last embryo, from my final round of IVF, I fell pregnant — and this time it stuck. I know there were many factors at play, but I honestly believe Lior’s therapy helped my body get to a place where that pregnancy could succeed. I continued seeing him through my first and second trimester, and his knowledge of fertility and pregnancy-specific treatment was second to none — he always knew exactly what my body needed at each stage.

I can’t recommend Lior highly enough, especially to anyone going through fertility struggles. Thank you, Lior.

I worked with Samina as part of my fertility treatment and she was truly lovely and very helpful! Samina helped me suggestions in terms of supplements and I really think that the acupuncture sessions we had together really helped me to relax and assisted me with my fertility treatment.

I love love love Acu Medic clinic and Dr Chen! I’m always welcomed very warmly and the organisation of the sessions are excellent! 

A few months ago my monthly cycle had severe irregularities and my PMS was very intense. I started having regular sessions with Dr Chen and after even after first 6 session cycle there were fantastic improvements. Now when I’ve completed my second 6 session cycle I can with confidence say that Pms is practically unnoticeable and my period is back to usual 26 days, it’s light and easy. It feels miraculous! 

I am very grateful and now I’m continuing the third cycle just to support my general well-being! I love the sense of balance and ease everytime I leave the clinic!! 

Dr Selwyn Dexter was excellent. I had 5 acupuncture treatment for both my knees and my knee pain is gone.
