Dr Jyoti Bakshi

Dr Jyoti Bakshi is a highly experienced and compassionate Consultant in Rheumatology, who is dedicated to providing her patients with the highest quality care. She see's patient's privately at the Syon clinic and the Runnymede Hospitals. Patient feedback has highlighted Dr. Bakshi's excellent communication skills, compassionate approach, and ability to listen carefully to her patients. Her care is patient-centered, evidence-based, and focused on recognising individual patient needs.

She works full-time at Ashford and St Peter's Hospitals NHS Trust in Surrey and holds an honorary Consultant contract in the Rheumatology Department at University College London Hospitals.

Dr Bakshi has trained extensively, having completed her medical degree at Imperial College London, as well as specialist and postgraduate training in the North West London Deanery and the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre (Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust). She is dual accredited in both Rheumatology and General Medicine.

In her NHS job she runs a dedicated weekly specialist Connective Tissue Diseases, Emergency, and Early Inflammatory Arthritis clinics. She organises weekly departmental educational meetings and is active in research. She has published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at national and international medical conferences in her subject field.
