Ms Josie Porter is a dedicated dietitian at The Gut Health Clinic, specialising in bariatric surgery, weight management, type 2 diabetes and women's health. Josie was friendly and listened throughout the assessment, taking into consideration all aspects relating to my problem.

Overall a really good experience. Josie took an interest in me before she starting asking me more nutrition related questions. Josie really made me feel heard, creating the space for me to discuss what I needed to. Josie would regularly feedback and provide really good insight. We very much worked together, coming up with achievable goals and an action plan, which really helped me take an active role in my own journey.

Josie was patient and understanding, her ideas were so solid and helpful, and she was very good at talking me through some previous disordered eating patterns.

Overall I've had a very pleasant experience with Josie. In our first session I felt that Josie really listened to my issues and sympathised with my experience. She shared some useful tools that would help me and together we picked and tweaked them to suit me. Then we set some goals for me to work on and I was provided with resources to help me achieve my goals. In our second session, as I had met the goals previously set, we discussed and set new goals that I would be comfortable with.
