Dr. John Tsagaris

John Tsagaris is an internationally practising acupuncturist and Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner with more than 30 years of clinical experience, specialising in facial acupuncture, skin rejuvenation and health optimisation. He is the creator of the Acuskinlift™ Method, a highly individualised approach to facial acupuncture developed through decades of clinical practice and an ongoing engagement with the science of skin ageing, tissue health and longevity.

His work is focused on a simple principle: facial ageing should not be considered in isolation. John's approach looks beyond the surface of the skin to the relationship between connective tissue, superficial fascia, circulation, neuromuscular function and the broader health of the individual. This allows treatment to remain subtle, considered and tailored to the person rather than following a standardised cosmetic protocol.

John holds a BSc (Hons) in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Human Bioscience from Middlesex University and undertook clinical training in China, including at Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and affiliated hospitals. He is a Full Member of the Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture UK (ATCM) and is fully professionally insured.

Through his signature Acuskinlift™ Method, John combines carefully selected facial and body acupuncture techniques with detailed assessment of facial tissue, skin quality and the patient's wider health profile. His academic interests include mechanotransduction, extracellular matrix biology, connective-tissue signalling and auricular neuromodulation — areas increasingly relevant to understanding healthy skin ageing, tissue resilience and the biological environment in which facial ageing occurs.

His clinical work has led to invitations to practise within distinguished international longevity and private-members environments. John works as a visiting practitioner at the Clinique La Prairie Longevity Hub in Madrid and has provided treatments within the members-only Tatoi Club in Athens, alongside his established private London practice. These appointments place his work within an international environment increasingly focused on longevity, preventive health and highly personalised wellbeing.

Alongside his clinical practice, John is developing the Acuskinlift™ Academy, through which he is formalising his methodology for professional education and advanced clinical training. He has also recently submitted scientific papers exploring aspects of the biological and clinical framework underpinning his work, reflecting his commitment to advancing a more evidence-informed understanding of facial acupuncture and integrative aesthetics.

John's work and perspective have also attracted media attention, with features and commentary appearing in publications including The Times, Tatler and the Evening Standard, alongside other health, beauty and lifestyle media.

Beyond facial treatments, John provides Health Optimisation Acupuncture for clients seeking a broader and more personalised approach to wellbeing. His clinical work includes support for stress and anxiety, sleep difficulties, headaches and migraine, musculoskeletal and back or neck discomfort, fertility support and general wellbeing, incorporating body and auricular acupuncture where clinically appropriate.

John sees clients at his private London medical suite at 14 Devonshire Place, Marylebone, close to Harley Street, as well as during selected international residencies. His consultations are deliberately unhurried and highly individualised, with treatment recommendations made following careful assessment of each client's priorities, health history and objectives.
