Mr John Pradeep Vedraj Edwin

Mr John Pradeep Vedraj Edwin, an esteemed Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with a specialisation in shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand, and general orthopaedic surgery. He currently practices at Nuffield Health Brentwood and plays a vital role in delivering exceptional orthopaedic care to his patients.

Mr Edwin's journey in orthopaedics began with his medical school and postgraduate training in India. He further honed his skills by gaining additional orthopaedic training at renowned centres of excellence in Liverpool, Exeter, and London. After earning his FRCS qualification, he pursued four fellowships in complex trauma, Shoulder & Elbow, and Wrist & Hand at prestigious institutions, including King’s College Hospital in London and Nottingham.

Mr Edwin offers expert care for various shoulder, elbow and hand conditions, including: carpal tunnel syndrome, Dupuytren’s, arthritis, golfer’s elbow, tennis elbow, trigger finger, ulnar nerve injury, cubital tunnel syndrome, ganglion cyst, ACJ injury, rotator cuff injury, shoulder instability, shoulder dislocation and frozen shoulder.

Beyond his clinical practice, Mr. Edwin is deeply committed to medical education and has taken up roles as a Clinical/Educational Supervisor for junior orthopaedic trainees. He holds the esteemed position of Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at New Vision University in Georgia. Additionally, he actively contributes as a key faculty member in FRCS (Trauma and Orthopaedic) courses at various renowned institutions worldwide.

Mr Edwin has published numerous scientific papers in international journals. His research work has garnered attention and acclaim, leading to national and international presentations. He is a sought-after lecturer, having delivered lectures in the United Kingdom, Oman, UAE, and India. developments in Upper Limb surgery. He has attended various workshops across Europe, mastering the latest innovations.
