Mr John Biddlestone

I have a history of skin lesions and for that reason Mr Biddleston sees me every six months to carry out a surveillance, which I find very reassuring. He has a very pleasant, professional manner and he keeps me fully informed about both his findings and what treatment, if any, is required. His follow up communications are prompt and excellent.

This was my final checkup. Advised if I needed any further info just to call. All very professional.

Mr Biddlestone has a lovely manner and explained the possible treatment options very clearly, showing examples of the proposed procedures. The procedure itself went well and my nose is healing beautifully. The follow-up appointment was again very informative especially re aftercare.

Mr Biddlestone has been managing my treatment for melanoma and I have nothing but the highest praise for his expertise and care. He is very empathetic and personable, is happy to answer even the most trivial of questions, explains things very clearly and follows up consultations promptly with a detailed written summary of what has been discussed. He is also an excellent surgeon. It has been very reassuring to be looked after by him during what has been a stressful and upsetting time. My treatment was for medical rather than cosmetic reasons but it is clear Mr Biddlestone is an incredibly skilful and precise plastic surgeon. My scarring is barely noticeable. This was something I was particularly worried about, so it has been a huge relief to me that the aesthetic outcome has been so good. I recommend him most highly!

Dr Biddlestone was a welcome calming presence. He was very professional and I felt in safe hands. I had a bit of a mix up with antibodies and felt unwell the next day after surgery. He saw me within a few hours of me calling and gave me a thorough examination and I felt reassured.

I had a lipoma removed from my shoulder, and Mr Biddlestone was the first Doctor who truly took it seriously and didn’t dismiss it as just a cosmetic issue. He explained everything thoroughly, including what could potentially go wrong, how the area may look after removal and the chances of it returning. This really put me at ease and I felt empowered and informed before deciding to go ahead with the procedure. After the procedure Mr Biddlestone let me see the lipoma that had been removed, which I actually appreciated. He also explained how he had stitched the wound, so when I saw it afterward, I knew not to panic and understood that it would continue to improve over time and this has very much been the case. I felt informed, reassured, and well cared for throughout and although I hope never to have the need to meet Mr Biddlestone again I would have no hesitation in returning to his care should the need arise. Highly recommend!!!
