From the time of my first Consultation with Mr Freites, I could not have received any better level of treatment & care. He explained to me my options and the plan that we would follow. Throughout my treatment he has given me 100% level of kind, professional care and attention. I can not speak highly enough of him & his team. I am 4 weeks post op and am overjoyed by the results of my surgery.

I was very impressed with Mr Freites, his examination was thorough and informative. The animated drawings of my condition (Rectocele) were an excellent way to confirm exactly how my condition is progressing. We discussed how surgery might impact me in the long term, which led to the decision to lose weight to assist recovery and improve the likelihood of a successful outcome. Mr Freites was respectful, and I felt at ease throughout the consultation, thank you also to his female colleague, who was incredibly helpful and supportive.

I came in for a hysterectomy, and Mr Freites put me at ease throughout the whole process. He has a genuine caring and warm bedside manner; checking on my and making sure I understood everything to do with my surgery. I could not have asked for a better surgeon, along with the whole team I saw.

Mr Freites was the best gynaecologist I’ve ever seen. He validated everything I said, he listened, took notes of my history, my symptoms and had genuine compassion for my situation. I never felt uncomfortable or like I had to hide something. We came up with a treatment plan and it all went completely smooth. My final diagnosis of adenomyosis was different than the original thought of endometriosis, but he handled the situation amazingly, giving me all the new information, treatment and plans going forward. I couldn’t recommend him enough and 100% made the right choice going with him as my consultant and surgeon.

Very professional. Always checking if I understood the information and explanation. Therefore the choices I could make towards my health. Appreciated the images on the computer to enhance my understanding of what my results had shown.

I saw Mr Freites today and had a very positive experience. He was friendly and approachable from the outset, which helped me feel comfortable during the appointment. He took the time to listen carefully and made sure I didn’t feel rushed at any point. He explained everything clearly and in a way that was easy to understand, which I really appreciated. He was also patient when answering my questions and seemed genuinely interested in making sure I felt informed and reassured. I visited Mr Freites having received a suspected diagnosis with not much information to go off. From the minute my appointment started, Mr Freites not only made me feel comfortable but made me feel heard and explained everything in impeccable detail, including even drawing diagrams to help me understand further. I recently saw Dr Jawad Freites regarding endometriosis, fibroids, chronic pelvic pain, persistent bleeding, and honestly felt listened to for the first time in a long time. He was kind, thorough, supportive and very easy to talk to. The appointment started with a really detailed overview of my previous appointments, GP conversations, hospital appointments and full symptom history, which immediately made me feel like the bigger picture was being considered rather than just one issue in isolation. Be prepared for a physical examination, and I’d definitely recommend taking notes with you beforehand, including: * symptoms and pain patterns * previous treatments * supplements you take * diet/lifestyle changes * exercise routines I found this really helped the discussion and overall outcome of the appointment. Dr Freites took the time to properly explain things, answer questions and most importantly gave me a clear treatment pathway rather than just another “wait and see” appointment. I left feeling reassured and much more positive about managing my symptoms going forward. The appointment felt very professional but also compassionate, and the female nurse who was present throughout was also lovely and reassuring. I would absolutely recommend Dr Freites to anyone struggling with chronic gynaecological pain or looking for a specialist who genuinely listens and takes symptoms seriously.
