Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)

From initial phone call to seeing my therapist took about a week, which is so quick.  The wellbeing centre is easy to get to. All staff there are welcoming. My therapist is great, introduced themselves told me their background and what the plan of action was. Then listened, asked questions to get the full picture of My PTSD. They explained what PTSD was and how it manifests in terms I understood. We planned further sessions.  Every session was calm, well planned and I felt listened to and understood. I had homework to do which I completed as I want to improve. Everything that my therapist has shown and discussed with me makes sense. I fully understand that my therapist gives me the tools to help myself. It is up to me to put everything I have been shown and given in place to make it work, which I am doing. 
I cannot thank my therapist enough as I feel better and have an understanding of what has been happening and how to deal with it, and I have the tools to help me with things in the future too.
I will miss my sessions and my therapist and thank you for everything you have taught me. Take care all, thank you so much again.

Dr Annique was brilliant. She let me get out what I wanted to say and promopted me to think about what I was feeling in relation to what I was saying. I found her to be extremely personable and easy to talk to. She also guided my recovery by suggesting breathing techniques and mindfulness practices, all of which I will continue to practice. 
My experience with her was a great and I can't thank her enough for her time.

Matina is very good at giving me ways that reframe my thinking to help get me out of my anxiety funks. Additionally she is very compassionate. Sometimes, therapists can be quite dry l and that makes it difficult to be open about the issues we deal with. I find that her compassionate manner makes me feel ok to be open and honest and not feel foolish for feeling the way I do. Overall I am feeling more equipped at handling anxieties

I have been a client of Sam's for a few years on and off. For a period of time I was also under the care of a psychiatrist, and she and he worked really well together. I now have online sessions with her, which are just as good as in-person. I would not hesitate to recommend Sam. She is a brilliant psychologist. She was central to my diagnosis of (and recovery from) postnatal depression and continues to be a great source of wisdom and empathy. I know myself so much better than before I began sessions with her. I am more self-aware, resilient and have learned real self-compassion. As a result, I am far better equipped to deal with whatever may come my way in the future.
