Dr Joachim Chan

Dr Joachim Chan is a highly dedicated Consultant Clinical Oncologist who specialises in the treatment of urological and upper gastrointestinal cancers. With a patient-centred approach, he focuses on delivering advanced oncological care for individuals diagnosed with bladder cancer, prostate cancer, and upper gastrointestinal malignancies. Dr Chan is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each patient, ensuring they receive the highest standard of support throughout their therapeutic journey.

Dr Chan began his medical journey at the Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine, where he graduated with distinction. Following this, he completed his postgraduate medical training in London before undertaking specialist clinical oncology training. He was subsequently appointed as a Clinical Research Fellow and was awarded a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the University of Liverpool. His doctoral research focused on hypofractionated dose painting radiotherapy for prostate adenocarcinoma, reflecting his deep commitment to advancing cancer treatment technologies.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr Chan is a professional member of the Royal College of Radiologists. He remains actively involved in clinical research, contributing to the development of innovative cancer therapies and participating in clinical trials.
