Dr Jessica Steele is a dedicated Consultant Plastic Surgeon specialising in reconstructive plastic surgery, microsurgery, and specialised hand surgical care. Committed to restoring both form and function, Dr Steele offers compassionate and comprehensive clinical management tailored to adult and paediatric patients. Dr Steele graduated with Distinction in medicine from Cambridge University in 2004. She subsequently completed basic surgical training followed by comprehensive higher plastic surgical training and sub-specialist fellowship training in microsurgery and upper limb reconstruction. She earned her Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in Plastic Surgery in 2015 and received her Certificate of Completion of Training in 2017. Dr Steele maintains active professional involvement as a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons and a member of the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons.

In her clinical practice, Dr Steele has established advanced expertise in adult and paediatric hand surgery, as well as upper and lower limb reconstructive procedures. She has a special clinical interest in managing congenital upper limb differences in children, treating conditions such as trigger thumbs, syndactyly, thumb hypoplasia, symbrachydactyly, camptodactyly, and vascular anomalies. Additionally, Dr Steele specialises in complex microsurgical procedures, nerve injury repair, soft tissue reconstruction, and post-traumatic limb recovery.

Working in close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, including advanced hand therapists, paediatric specialists, and rehabilitation practitioners, Dr Steele ensures a holistic approach to care.
