Dr Jessica Spiteri

Dr Jessica Spiteri is an accomplished Consultant Anaesthetist dedicated to delivering safe, high-quality perioperative care. Specialising in comprehensive Anaesthetics, Dr Spiteri works closely with surgical teams to ensure that patients experience optimal comfort and safety throughout their surgical journey. Her clinical approach is rooted in clear communication and compassionate patient care, helping to put patients at ease before, during, and after surgical procedures.

Her practice encompasses a broad range of clinical expertise, with dedicated focus as an Acute Pain Lead and Day Surgery Lead. Dr Spiteri possesses extensive experience in regional anaesthesia, including ultrasound-guided and image-guided nerve blocks to support effective post-operative pain relief. She provides tailored anaesthetic management across various surgical disciplines, including orthopaedic, general, and day-case procedures, ensuring each patient receives a personalised care plan aligned with their individual health needs.

Dr Spiteri completed her undergraduate medical degree (M.D.) at the University of Malta, graduating in 2011. She subsequently completed extensive postgraduate specialty training in Anaesthetics and holds Fellowship of the Royal College of Anaesthetists (FRCA). Fully registered with the General Medical Council, Dr Spiteri actively contributes to clinical education and leadership to maintain high standards in acute pain services and patient safety.
