Ms Jessica MacIsaac

Dr. Jessica MacIsaac is an Independent Prescribing Optometrist who joined Keith Murphy Opticians in November 2020. Originally from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, she holds a BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Guelph, Canada (2009), and a BSc (Hons) in Optometry with First Class Honours from the University of Bradford (2012).

After becoming a Member of the College of Optometrists and obtaining GOC registration in 2013, Dr. MacIsaac continued her education, earning the College of Optometrists Professional Certificate in Glaucoma, a Diploma in Therapeutics, and a Doctor of Philosophy degree from Aston University. Her research interests led her to successfully complete an Innovate UK Knowledge Transfer Partnership Project, in collaboration with BBR Optometry Ltd and Aston University, focused on developing specialised optometric services.

Dr. MacIsaac brings a wealth of experience in providing exceptional eye care, gained from working in hospital settings as well as independent practices. She has a particular interest in myopia management.
