Dr Jeremy Stanton

Dr Jeremy Stanton is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in trauma and orthopaedic surgery, with particular expertise in upper limb conditions. He provides comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and surgical management for patients suffering from disorders affecting the shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand. Dr Stanton is dedicated to restoring joint function and mobility, employing advanced techniques to deliver individualised, patient-centred care.

Dr Stanton graduated from Cambridge University and completed his clinical training at University College London and Middlesex School of Medicine in 1989. He subsequently undertook specialist postgraduate training on the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital rotation. To further refine his clinical skills, Dr Stanton completed advanced fellowship training in hand surgery at the Pulvertaft Hand Centre in Derby, followed by an upper limb fellowship in Perth, Australia. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Trauma and Orthopaedics, and holds active professional memberships with the British Orthopaedic Association and the British Elbow and Shoulder Society.

Throughout his career, Dr Stanton has maintained a focused clinical practice centred on minimally invasive arthroscopic techniques and joint reconstruction. His clinical interests include keyhole arthroscopic procedures for the shoulder, elbow, and wrist, as well as shoulder and elbow joint replacements. Additionally, Dr Stanton treats a wide range of hand conditions, finger joint replacements, and upper limb trauma, helping patients regain optimal physical function and quality of life.
