About Mr Mark Prempeh
Mr. Mark Prempeh serves as a Consultant Spinal Surgeon at both the Mid and South Essex Hospital (Broomfield) and the East Suffolk North Essex Foundation Trust (Ipswich). His medical education began at the University of the West Indies, followed by specialised training in Trauma and Orthopaedics through the East of England Orthopaedic Training programme.
In 2015, Mr. Prempeh achieved the prestigious FRCS (Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons) in Trauma and Orthopaedics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Glasgow. He further honed his expertise in Spinal surgery through extensive fellowships at renowned centres such as Ipswich, Stoke, and Exeter. I have been impressed with Mr. Prempeh at all times throughout my appointments with him, from the initial consultation, before and after my lumbar decompression surgery, and at my follow up appointment. He has excellent communication skills in friendly, relaxed manner and made me feel at ease, and gave me full confidence in his ability. The result of the op. was instantaneous and, apart from initial post-operative discomfort, all the pain associated with my previous condition had disappeared. I would highly recommend Mr.Prempeh to anyone considering spinal surgery.
