Dr Jennifer Kahan

Dr Jennifer Kahan is an accomplished Consultant Clinical Oncologist specialising in the comprehensive non-surgical management of adult cancers, with a particular focus on neuro-oncology. She possesses extensive expertise in managing complex central nervous system (CNS) tumours, including brain tumours and glioblastoma. Dedicated to delivering compassionate, patient-centred care, Dr Kahan works collaboratively within multidisciplinary specialist teams to ensure every individual receives a tailored treatment strategy suited to their specific clinical needs.

In her clinical practice, Dr Kahan utilises advanced radiotherapeutic techniques alongside systemic therapies to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Her clinical interests encompass stereotactic ablative radiotherapy (SABR), precision radiotherapy planning utilising integrated CT and MRI technology, and the prompt management of acute oncological conditions such as spinal cord compression. Through the application of state-of-the-art imaging modalities, she aims to maximise therapeutic accuracy while minimising treatment-related side effects on surrounding healthy tissue.

Dr Kahan earned her primary medical qualification before undertaking rigorous higher specialist training in Clinical Oncology.
