Dr Jaseela Chiramel

Dr Jaseela Chiramel is a Consultant Medical Oncologist who specialises in the treatment and long-term management of breast cancer and neuroendocrine tumours (NETs). She provides compassionate, evidence-based care for patients diagnosed with both early-stage and advanced oncological conditions. Working alongside multidisciplinary healthcare teams, Dr Chiramel focuses on delivering tailored treatment plans designed to achieve optimal clinical outcomes while supporting her patients' quality of life.

Her clinical practice encompasses a wide spectrum of systemic anti-cancer therapies. Dr Chiramel has particular expertise in managing complex breast malignancies, including hormone receptor-positive, HER2-positive, and triple-negative breast cancers. She is also highly experienced in treating well-differentiated and high-grade neuroendocrine malignancies. Her therapeutic repertoire includes chemotherapy, endocrine therapy, targeted treatments, immunotherapy, and holistic supportive cancer care.

Dr Chiramel earned her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree, alongside completing a Master of Research (MRes) and achieving Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) with a specialist qualification in Medical Oncology. Following her initial medical qualification, she completed higher specialist oncology training within leading United Kingdom teaching hospitals. She holds professional memberships with the Royal College of Physicians, the British Medical Association, the Medical Defence Union, the European Society for Medical Oncology, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the Association of Cancer Physicians, the UK and Ireland Neuroendocrine Tumour Society, and the European Neuroendocrine Tumour Society.

In addition to her clinical duties, Dr Chiramel actively contributes to medical education, clinical supervision, and service development. She maintains a strong dedication to clinical research and regularly participates in national and international oncology conferences to remain at the forefront of emerging cancer therapies.
