Dr. Mohammed Abdul-Latif has overseen my treatment from the beginning to now, which is nearly 4 years. He is professional, kind, understanding and so supportive. He and his team have reassured me throughout the entire process he saved my life, I cannot think of any greater accolade that you can afford another human being other than that. I am enjoying my life with my loving family and extended family. I make every day count., having lost family members to cancer, I feel it my duty to make the very best of the wonderful life that I have. I am a massive fan of Mount Vernon and its staff and will forever let everyone know, being diagnosed with cancer is not the end, it is a lottery, not everyone wins, but many do. Very informative explaining everything making you feel at ease

It is difficult to put into words just how grateful I am for the care I received from Dr Abdul-latif and the entire team. From the very beginning, he made both my husband and me feel reassured, comfortable and, most importantly, seen. My cancer was in an extremely sensitive and intimate area, which could easily have made appointments feel embarrassing or overwhelming, but he handled every conversation and examination with such calmness, kindness and dignity. He was always patient, knew my history without me having to repeatedly explain myself, and took the time to answer every question we had calmly, honestly and factually. I never felt rushed or that any concern was too small. What also stood out was that this wasn’t just one exceptional consultant — the whole team seemed to know me and my case. There was a real sense that everyone was communicating and genuinely cared about how I was coping, not just medically but as a person. When I needed help, it was there. Support was available out of hours, questions were answered and medication was arranged incredibly quickly when I needed it. During one of the most frightening periods of our lives, knowing that this team was there gave us an enormous sense of security. Cancer care obviously has to be clinically excellent, but how you make a patient feel matters enormously too. I felt safe, respected, listened to and cared for throughout. I will never forget the compassion and reassurance shown to both me and my family. I genuinely could not have wished for better care, and I will always be incredibly grateful to my consultant...

Very impressed with all staff who were so positive and caring at all times

My recent visit was to be told I am in remission from cervical and bladder cancer. Dr Mo has been fantastic and looked after me so well I will be internally grateful to him for the treatment I received. Mount Vernon is a bitter sweet place but one I hold close to my heart.
