Mr Jamil Moledina

Mr Jamil Moledina is a dedicated Consultant Plastic Surgeon with expertise in plastic, reconstructive, and hand and wrist surgery. He provides care for both adult and paediatric patients, diagnosing and treating a broad range of elective conditions, complex acute trauma, and long-standing reconstructive challenges. His clinical focus centres on restoring form and function through precise surgical techniques and individualised treatment plans.

His clinical scope encompasses all aspects of hand and wrist disorders. These include nerve compression syndromes such as carpal tunnel and cubital tunnel syndrome, Dupuytren's contracture, trigger finger, De Quervain's tenosynovitis, and ganglion cysts. Mr Moledina treats complex bone fractures, ligament tears, tendon injuries, and joint arthritis involving the fingers, thumb, and wrist. He regularly performs joint replacements, wrist arthroscopy, microvascular reconstruction, and supermicrosurgical procedures. In paediatric care, he specialises in managing congenital upper limb and foot differences, as well as neuromuscular conditions including cerebral palsy and spasticity. His practice also includes the assessment and surgical excision of skin lesions, cysts, and benign soft tissue growths.

Mr Moledina completed his medical degree with Honours from Imperial College School of Medicine in 2002. He undertook specialist higher surgical training in Plastic Surgery and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2011. He subsequently completed advanced postgraduate sub-specialty fellowships in complex adult hand and wrist surgery and paediatric reconstructive surgery, earning the Diploma of Hand Surgery from the European Board of Hand Surgery in 2015. He holds a postgraduate qualification in Medical Education, actively contributes to peer-reviewed medical publications, and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
