Mr Stuart Edward James

Mr Stuart James is a Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon based in London, UK. His specialist interests lie in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery for the breast, fat transfer and aesthetic surgery of the breast and face.

Graduating from University College and the Middlesex Medical School in 1994 he commenced his surgical training at The Royal Free Hospital and by 1998 he has already gained Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

Following from this he undertook a period of full time research and was awarded a Master of Surgery (MS) degree and an Arris and Gale Lectureship and College Medal by The Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2003 for his research and work into wound healing. It was then he decided to move to six years Higher Surgical Training in Plastic Surgery in London and the South East, with rotations at the St Andrews Unit in Chelmsford (2001-2), St Thomas' Hospital (2003-4), The Royal Marsden Hospital (2005) and The Craniofacial Unit at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital (2006).

In 2006 he relocated to Houston, Texas where he spent a year as Fellow to the MD Anderson Cancer Centre focusing on microsurgical reconstructive surgery.

He is highly regarded within the field due to his meticulous attention to detail and impeccable credentials. IN 2013 he was included in the Breast Section of the Tatler Doctors Guide – Britain's Top 250 Consultants by Speciality.
