Mr James Platt is a professional doctor. He gives clear details, listens to patients, and builds confidence. Patients get great results from hip and knee surgery, including partial knee replacements. His skill provides knee pain relief and successful hip replacement surgery.
My hip "journey" with James Platt was a very positive experience from start to finish. His calm yet reassuringly positive approach meant that I held no fear or anxiety going into the operation. Four months on the new hip seems to have settled in well and I am back leading an almost normal active life again
I am very pleased that I was referred to Mr Platt. He was engaging, explained everything and was meticulous in his work. He gave me great confidence - which I needed! The operation was successful, the after care and attention exemplary. I trust I won't have top but would be happy to be under his care in the future.

Thank you very much for your kind review!
I have found Mr Platt to be totally clear, informative and reassuring in consultations leading up to my knee surgery. If I had questions, it was easy to ask them. I am more than happy with the outcome of the surgery, and the follow up care given by the Nuffield physio team. The whole experience has been a good one and I am very grateful that Mr Platt was my consultant.

Thank you for your review. I am glad you found everything well explained and that the surgery went well.
Mr Platt provided Clear explanation and reassurance. He listened to my concerns and gave guidance on how to manage and improve my injury.

I am grateful for your time to leave me a positive review.
Had a hip issue and it was dealt with quickly and effectively
I have received outstanding care from Mr Platt and his team at Woking. In addition to his advanced surgical expertise he has used a range of other skills such as joint injections and diagnostic ultrasound to understand and manage my unusual knee issues. I have particularly appreciated his excellent communication with the physios, nurses and other professional colleagues as well as myself. His interest and dedication to helping me achieve the best possible outcome has been unwavering. His secretary/wife Kerrie has also been exceptionally kind and understanding. Thank you team Platt!
Dr Platt was very calm and clear in communicating what the issue was and what needed to be done. I would recommend and if I have a knee issue in the future, would be keen to see Dr Platt again.
I went to see Mr Platt as I needed a full knee replacement. He was extremely professional and at the same time allowed me to raise concerns which may have been slightly outside of the reason I went to see him in the first place. If my concerns were justified he would address them and if not he would explain why they were not. I felt very at ease with him handling my medical issues and would highly recommend him. He is a credit to his profession.
It was a smooth and informative first consultation with a clear plan for next steps.
