I had a knee replacement performed by Mr Platt in February 2022 My experience of Mr Platt has been excellent. He is kind and thoughtful and gave a clear explanation of the procedure, and he saw me on my follow-up in his clinic. I am under his care again for my other knee. Thank you for helping me to remain as independent and improving my quality of life.

My partial knee replacement surgery was carried out by Mr Platt on the 17/02/2023 which was approximately 10 weeks ago. I know that recovery's are different for each patient but mine has been exceptional so much so I played 18 holes of golf on 22/04/2023 and couldn't be happier with my surgery. Mr Platt explained my operation in full before performing surgery and took the time to see me on the ward the same day after my surgery to let me know how the operation had gone. His beside manor filled me with nothing but confidence and any questions I had were answered and explained in full. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mr Platt to anyone considering Knee surgery and I can't thank Mr Platt and all the nurses at Mount Vernon Hospital enough for the exceptional care they provided.

Mr Platt treated both myself for a knee replacement and my wife for a knee issue and we both found him to be informative, caring and very professional.

Mr. Platt was the surgeon who led the surgical team treating my tpf in October 2022. He explained the process very well to me before surgery. He was present in the theatre, overseeing the surgeon who performed the operation, checking each stage from what I could tell. Post surgery other team members attended and explained recovery. I have spoken to Mr. Platt after my six month check today. He was happy to chat things through regarding future surgery, including hardware removal and TKR. Thank you for your time.

I found the treatment I was given by Mr Platt, from my initial consultation to having my hip replacement surgery a very positive experience. He was very kind and patient in explaining how the procedure would be carried out, the impact of having a new hip and guiding me through my recovery. Contacting him was always very straight forward and he always responded in a timely manner. He was empathetic and explained things without blinding me with science which was refreshing.
