Mr Platt is very nice, this was the first major operation I needed to have so was quite worried about it. From the outset Mr Platt was knowledgeable, very approachable and explained things very well. He talked in a manner that I could understand. I was confident the operations would be a success and they were. Everyone was caring and professional. I would recommend him.

On my first meeting with Mr Platt I was immediately put at ease. His manner was friendly, warm, kind and caring and as quite an anxious person this was exactly what I needed. He explained the whole process and answered all my questions leaving me confident that I had definitely found the perfect surgeon! Throughout both procedures he kept me very well informed and during my time at Bishops Wood he visited to check on me regularly. I saw my new knees at my follow up appointments and they are indeed absolutely perfect! Having had two partial knee replacements in less than five months I can honestly say that for me it has been a complete life changer!! After having one knee operation last year and the success of that I was keen to get my right knee done as well . As per last operation everything was explained to me and I was told about my recovery expectations . Every time I saw Mr platt he took time to explain thr next steps . I felt 100 percent confident going into my operation , and the results have shown for itself as I am able to function now pain free . Something which I can’t remember . All the way through the process Mr Platts secretary was kind and accommodating with appointment times and questions that just seem to pop up going through the process . If I hadn’t been in such good hands I can imagine the whole operation may have been a different experience.

I was introduced to Mr Platt several years ago and he is the man who has made my life since the first and second hip replacement pain free. If you are suffering with hip or knee pain you have my sympathy. I was only in hospital for 2 or 3 days and yes it was not a place I would want to spend too much time in, but after a few weeks I realised just how beneficial it was. I am now in my 78th year and as I said earlier totally pain free.
