Mr James Horwood

Mr James Horwood is a General Surgeon. They have a postgraduate qualification in medical education and enjoy training junior doctors in the art of surgery and encouraging and developing technological surgical advances. Their clinical interests are in all aspects of bowel complaints, treatment of haemorrhoids, surgical repair of inguinal hernia minimal access surgery, surgery for colorectal cancer, diverticular disease and inflammatory bowel diseases.

Mr Horwood graduated from University College Hospital, London and subsequently undertook surgical training in South West England, Southampton, Edinburgh, Wales and Australia. They obtained sub-specialty training in colorectal surgery from Cardiff and was appointed as the overseas minimally invasive colorectal fellow at the Royal Brisbane Hospital Queensland in 2012-13.
