About Dr James Corbett
Mr James Corbett is a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon with a specialist focus on knee disorders. He works at the West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust and also sees private patients at St Edmunds Hospital.

Mr Corbett carried out my total knee replacement surgery promptly with what appears to be a very good outcome. Pre-op and post-op care were excellent and communication was superb throughout. The treatment I received at St Edmunds Hospital, in Bury St Edmunds, was fantastic.
Follow up after operation .After the amazing job Dr James Corbett did on initial consultation then my operation the follow up was just as impressive.I felt and was treated as a person not just a number he was caring and was very supportive of what I had been through losing my wife .The follow up included how much damage I had to my knee before the operation including the scans and then scans of my knee after the operation .I was advised what was the best way forward so I can hopefully not have to undergo surgery again with some amazing advise which was explained in detail .His bed side manner and his professionalism was off the scale and should at any point in the future I needed help I would most definitely contact him because the operation on me has enabled me to come off crutches after a year and I now have full movement back .One thing always take his advise re exercise rehabilitation that is the key to perfection after his amazing work .
Attended to review progress on my recent total knee replacement. Mr Corbett is very approachable and listened to all my questions and concerns and offered great practical advice.
