Dr Ira Pande

Dr Ira Pande is an accomplished Consultant Rheumatologist who provides compassionate and comprehensive care for patients with musculoskeletal and autoimmune conditions. Dedicated to delivering patient-centred care, Dr Pande focuses on precise diagnosis, tailored therapeutic plans, and ongoing support for individuals managing chronic rheumatic conditions. Her practice encompasses a broad range of disorders, helping patients alleviate joint discomfort, reduce systemic inflammation, and enhance their overall quality of life.

In her clinical practice, Dr Pande has a specialised interest in metabolic bone conditions, particularly osteoporosis, alongside connective tissue diseases and inflammatory joint conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis and psoriatic arthritis. She is highly skilled in advanced diagnostic and therapeutic techniques, including musculoskeletal ultrasound for detailed joint assessment and targeted joint injection techniques to relieve pain and improve mobility. Additionally, Dr Pande actively engages in clinical research and trial initiatives, ensuring her patients receive modern, evidence-based care.

Dr Pande completed her medical qualification (MD) at King George's Medical University, followed by higher specialist training in Clinical Immunology and Rheumatology at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences. She undertook further postgraduate research in the United Kingdom, culminating in a PhD awarded by the University of London for her research on male osteoporosis. A Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP), Dr Pande serves on the faculty for the Royal College of Physicians and maintains close links with professional bodies, including the Indian Rheumatology Association.
